Dr. Kapil Mehta, a distinguished academician with a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Science and Computing at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Mohali, Punjab, India. With a deep expertise in the field of Cybersecurity, Dr. Mehta is dedicated to advancing both the academic and practical aspects of this rapidly evolving discipline. He has made significant contributions through research, mentoring, and curriculum development, aiming to shape future leaders in the cybersecurity domain.

With a passion for teaching and a strong academic foundation, I focus on bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry requirements. He had the honor of being awarded the Wheebox National Employability Award 2023 hosted at IIT Delhi for his contributions to improving student employability. As the Google Club Faculty Advisor, he mentor students in hands-on development through the Google Developer Student Club, and as a Mentor for the Internshala Student Partner Program, he guide students in securing internships and building their professional networks.
